Adapted from a set of novellas by the celebrated author, the program focuses on two unlikely heroes roaming the realms of Westeros. We meet a youthful, naive but courageous knight called Ser Duncan the Tall, paired with his small squire Egg.
Set during an age when the Targaryen family maintains control over the Iron Throne, the plot offers combat preparation, chivalrous competitions, and epic battles. Remembrances of the last dragon remain in the memories of the living, and significant fates are in store for these surprising partners.
The main focus in this production was to follow the main character concerning mood and perspective. We wanted fans to experience his sensations—the mud, the agony, the frustration.
