"That represented the most ridiculous departure," remarked a clearly disturbed Joe Marler.

And with that, the participants exploded with joy.

At last - the honest contestants have finally caught a traitor.

And not merely any deceiver.

The emerald-clad, shades-adoring, the media personality is gone.

For entertainment reporter the television critic, this represented another sign of just how "merciless" the Traitors can be.
