Comedian Amy Schumer Confirms Separation from Husband of Nearly a Decade
Entertainer Amy Schumer has disclosed that she and her spouse, culinary expert Chris Fischer are getting a divorce post a seven-year partnership.
The actress shared in an Instagram post on this week, accompanied by a picture of the pair on a train, that they had made the "tough choice" to separate and will keep prioritizing caring for their six-year-old son.
"Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever," she wrote.
Schumer, 44, and Fischer, 45, tied the knot in February 2018 and became parents in 2019.

The star quipped in the Instagram post that the split is not due to recent weight loss and not prompted by Fischer's status as an "acclaimed culinary expert who can still attract attention".
He received the esteemed James Beard award in the American Cooking category for his culinary guide published in 2015.
